Documents Required
Following article 4 in the agreement between Denmark and Ukraine on the facilitation of the issuance of visa to citizens of Ukraine visiting Denmark, Ukrainian applicants will, as a main rule only have to submit the general requirements and the supporting documents mentioned below.

An applicant will have to provide evidence that he/she falls under this category.

For other applicants who can prove earlier Schengen visa (ex original old passport) the general requirements and the supporting documentation mentioned below is as a main rule sufficient. For first-time visitors into the Schengen area, additional documentation may be required, see below.

Additional documentation may be required.

General requirements:

1 duly completed application form;
1 recent passport sized photograph
Passport with a validity exceeding three months after your scheduled return and previous passport(s) and photocopy of passports and previous visas and stamps (Schengen, Switzerland, UK, USA, Canada,);
Domestic passport and photocopy of Domestic passport;
Proof of Travel Medical Insurance covering all Schengen countries with a minimum coverage of 30.000 Euro for: repatriation for medical reasons, urgent medical treatment and emergency admission to hospital treatment during the stay in the territory of the Schengen states (to be provided when applying for the visa), see further information on Medical Insurance.
Please pay attention that for a single entry visa TMI should have 15 more days of validity.
Documentation that travel expenses are covered (Only to be provided when visa has been issued): Return ticket or bus reservation. If travelling by car – a copy of green card;
If foreigner residing in Ukraine, Armenia or Georgia: Valid residence- and/or work permit with a translation into English; supplementary application form;

All supporting and additional documentation should be translated into English before submitting.

Supporting documents:

An original written request from a host legal person or a company, or an office or a branch of such legal person or company, a state and local authorities of Denmark or an organizing committee of trade and industrial exhibition, conference and symposia held in Denmark. Preferably use the following form.

The request should state the full name and address of the inviting company, name and position of the person signing the request, the Danish company’s CVR registration number (in the Danish Central Business Register);

The request should furthermore state the full name and address, date of birth, sex and citizenship of the invited person as well as the purpose, time and duration of the visit and number of entries;

Proof of professional activity: If you work: Work statement for employed person stating the function and date of employment as well as duration of leave (confirmation that the applicant can return to the job) with a translation into English; If private businessman: Documents confirming private business, ex Certificate of registration of the company in Ukraine, Armenia or Georgia and tax declaration (with a translation into English);
Documents proving sustainable financial means or income of the applicant to cover the expenses during the visit (for at least equivalent of 350 DKR per day without accommodation): Recent Bank account statement, travellers’ cheques, credit card together with a withdrawal statement from a Bancomat; other proof of financial means; Guarantee from host (company);

In case of applications for multiple-entry visas to business people, proof must be presented regarding their professional status, the duration of their activities and the need to participate regularly in meetings, consultations and negotiations in Denmark.

Additional documentation, only after Embassy request:

Statement from Danish company stating the content of previously cooperation between the Danish and Ukrainian company and how long time the cooperation has taken place;
A recent employer’s statement about the salary (with a translation into English);
Work/ Labor book (original and copy) (with a translation into English);
Proof of booking/reservation of hotel;
Extract from bank account(s) showing the transactions of the company’s bank account during the latest 3 months (with a translation into English);
Proof of previous business activities (with a translation into English).

PROCESS


Step 1
Prepare your application and supporting documents: Go to ‘All about your visas’ link on this website and find out details related to the visa category you want to apply for – here, you can find the applicable fee, documents required, Visa application form, Valid passport (Please note that the passport cannot be older than 10 years and has to be valid for at least three months after your scheduled return) and more.

Step 2
Book an appointment to visit Visa Application Centre: To visit Visa Application Centre you need to Schedule Appointment You can book an appointment online or by calling the Call Centre. Details provided on this website to schedule an appointment.

Step 3
Submit your application: Visit Visa Application Centre as per appointment scheduled and submit your completed Visa Application Forms along with required supporting documents.

Step 4
Pay applicable Fee: Submission Officer will advise you on total payable amount and guide you to the bank cashier where you need to pay in local currency (Hryvnia). Receipt will be provided for all payments made at the Centre.
